There is no doubt investing in real estate is one of the most profitable and lucrative, time testing methods of obtaining wealth in the modern era. Yet, very few even try, and even less are successful at it.
Why is that?
If owning rental property is so lucrative, why don’t more people do it?
Because it isn’t easy as some make out.I’ve heard plenty of people describe it as, “You buy a property with a mortgage with no money down, you get a tenant, and then you just sit back and collect the rent checks, make the mortgage payments from the rent checks, and keep the difference!”If that was really all there was to it, then yeah, I guess everybody would be doing it and making a fortune. Maybe some wouldn’t because they were too lazy to do the few hours work to set it all up, but anyone with any sense would.But it is most definitely NOT that easy.
